At Annapurna East Sheen we serve them freshly steamed with our house tomato and sesame chutney. Momo originate from Nepal and Tibet and are one of the most beloved street foods in the Himalayas. They are our most popular dish and the perfect introduction to Nepalese cuisine.
Dal bhat is the national dish of Nepal, eaten twice daily across the country. It consists of slow-cooked lentil soup (dal) served with steamed rice (bhat), seasonal vegetable curry and house pickle (achar). It is wholesome, naturally nutritious and deeply satisfying. At Annapurna East Sheen we serve a traditional version that reflects how this dish is prepared in Nepalese homes.
Yes. You can order online through our website for collection or delivery across East Sheen (SW14), Richmond, Mortlake, Barnes and surrounding South West London areas. Every takeaway dish is freshly prepared to order — the same quality as dining in the restaurant.

Yes. We have an extensive range of vegetarian and vegan dishes including vegetable momo, paneer dishes, dal bhat, jackfruit tarkari, saag aloo, vegetable biryani and multiple vegetable curries. Many dishes are naturally vegan — please ask our team for recommendations.
Dhal Bhat Tarkari Achar is the complete traditional meal of Nepal and is considered the heart of Nepalese cuisine. It combines four essential elements: Dhal (slow-cooked spiced lentil soup), Bhat (steamed basmati rice), Tarkari (a seasonal vegetable curry) and Achar (a fermented or fresh pickle that adds sharpness and depth). Together they create a perfectly balanced, nutritious meal that provides protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and probiotics in one plate. In Nepal this meal is eaten twice a day — it is not just food, it is a way of life.
